Developing Effective Teamwork
Utilizing an interpersonal style assessment, participants will gain insight into their individual strengths and limitations and how those strengths and limitations can help or hinder teamwork. This dynamic workshop on developing and maintaining effective teamwork will reduce misunderstandings and conflicts and increase productivity and morale.
Understanding how team members tend to interact with each other will help uncover why and where conflicts occur and what to do to minimize the effects of conflict between team members.
Lecture, assessment instrument, case studies, a movie clip, and a team exercise will be an integral part of the session.

- Uncover and recognize the causes of team breakdown or failure.
- Criteria necessary to effective teamwork: Clear purpose, Team roles, Team work process
- Assess how well the team performs.
- Understand and utilize individual interpersonal styles to more productively support and enhance the team.
- How to conduct effective team meetings.
- How to communicate effectively with team members to build understanding and support.
- How to address conflicts productively.
