How Successful Do You Expect Your Tellers to Be?

Maintaining the cash drawer throughout the day is a major responsibility of a bank teller.  In any bank, there is much emphasis placed on the need for tellers to balance daily. Thousands of dollars in cash may pass through the teller’s hands each day and account for every cent is of primary importance.

Accuracy and efficiency in handling cash are key components to the job while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor, and being on constant alert for fraud and scams, as well as complying with regulatory reporting requirements sum up the teller’s responsibilities around transactions.
