Stacey Barnier is presently the Director of Human Resources for California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) and previously served as the campus Manager of Employee and Labor Relations. Prior to joining CSUSB, she worked for the cities of Corona and Newport Beach providing generalist human resources support to include employee relations, recruitment, benefits and retirement. She also worked in higher education at San Bernardino Community College performing similar functions. Stacey serves as the College Relations Chair and Sponsorship Chair for the Inland Empire Society for Human Resources Management (IESHRM) and as a mentor in the Women 4 Women Mentor Program on campus. In addition to her ten years of public sector human resources experience, Stacey also has many years of experience in the hospitality industry where she was a Corporate Trainer for The Elephant Bar Restaurants and Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ Restaurants. Stacey earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Human Resources from Cal Poly Pomona, completed graduate coursework in Organizational Leadership and Change Management at National University and is currently a graduate student in the Public Administration program at CSUSB.
